Led by fine art photographer Paolo Goltara, THE ART OF SEEING NEW YORK is an intimate one-day photography experience designed for photographers who want to move beyond technique and develop a more intentional way of seeing.
Limited to just 8 participants, each workshop offers personal guidance as Paolo shares the artistic approach behind his limited-edition photographs. Together, you'll explore carefully selected locations throughout New York, learning how light, timing, composition, and emotion transform ordinary moments into timeless images.
Whether you're an experienced photographer or an enthusiastic creative, you'll leave with stronger photographs, a renewed perspective, and a deeper connection to the city.

9:30 am - 5:30 pm (Duration of the Workshop)
Learning to Observe: (9:30 am - 1:30 pm) Lectures and Shooting.
Lunch break (1:30 pm - 2:30 pm)
Refining Your Vision: (2:30 pm - 5:30 pm) Group critique and image editing.
*The workshop involves a good amount of walking.
**Participants are expected to have a good understanding of their cameras as well as an understanding of basic image editing.

Every workshop is intentionally limited to eight photographers.
This allows Paolo to spend meaningful time with every participant, offering personal guidance throughout the day.
