Beyond What the Eye Can See

Some places become part of who we are. Not simply because we have lived in them, but because, somewhere along the way, they have taught us to see the world differently.

For me, that place is New York.

Born in Italy, my journey with photography began with a desire to observe, to discover, and to understand what lies beyond the surface of things. I studied Photography at the European Institute of Design in Rome before beginning my professional career as a photojournalist. Later, my work led me into the world of fashion photography, collaborating with international publications including Marie Claire, ELLE and Cosmopolitan.

Different experiences, different worlds, yet photography remained the constant thread connecting them all.

Over time, I came to understand that what fascinates me most is not simply what a camera can capture, but what a photograph can make us feel.

A Personal Vision of New York

After many years in New York, the city has become more than the place I call home. It has become a constant source of inspiration, a landscape of memories, contrasts and emotions that continues to reveal something new.

I find myself drawn not only to its iconic architecture or restless energy, but to the moments in between: a particular quality of light falling across a building, a fleeting reflection, a quiet street, the movement of a stranger, the unexpected poetry of an ordinary day.

These are the moments that often go unnoticed, yet somehow remain with us.

NYC Limited Edition was born from this relationship with the city. An independent fine-art photography project created to explore a more intimate New York — one that exists beyond familiar images and postcards, and speaks instead through atmosphere, memory, and feeling.

Each photograph is personally selected and released in exceptionally limited editions, hand-signed and numbered. Created for collectors and those who believe that art is more than something to live with; it is something to connect with.

The Art of Seeing

I have come to believe that photography begins long before pressing the shutter.

It begins with the ability to see — to pause, to observe, to recognize something meaningful in what might otherwise seem ordinary.

It is about looking beyond appearances and finding the emotion hidden within a moment.

Perhaps this is what photography means to me: an attempt to preserve not only what I have seen, but what I have felt.

Because a city is never just its buildings, its streets, or its landmarks. It is the sum of countless moments, each carrying a story of its own.

And sometimes, the most extraordinary things are the ones that cannot be seen at all.
